Story
At the heart of Y Sied is a belief that food education matters, with the understanding of where food comes from, how it grows, it's seasonality, and how cooking brings people together.
At Y Sied Cookery School we teach children & families practical food skills through hands-on cooking & gardening classes. Our aim is simple: to reconnect young people with real food, seasonal ingredients, and the confidence to cook from scratch, skills once passed naturally through generations.
What began as small local classes quickly grew through word of mouth, evolving into sessions for older children, teenagers and adults, all centred around wholesome food, creativity and community.
Founder Lisa Fearn has also shared her passion for seasonal cooking on Prynhawn Da & BBC Radio Wales , helping inspire families across Wales to cook with confidence and enjoy good food together.
Today, Y Sied continues that same ethos through cookery classes, workshops, events and café experiences rooted in Welsh hospitality, seasonal produce and simple, honest cooking

Cookery Workshops
Weekly cookery workshops are available to book via our bookings page for all age groups. Each class will cook seasonal recipes.
Childrens cookery workshops are available from age 3 upwards as well as adult cookery workshops
Yr Ysgol Coginio
Mae ein gweithdai coginio ar gael i’w harchebu drwy ein gwefan. Yn ein dosbarthiadau byddwn yn coginio ryseitiau melts a sawrus yn defnyddio cynnyrch tymhorol.

School Visits
Private workshops for schools and clubs are available for £250 a workshop and is available at our cookery school in Y Sied Lofft or Lisa can visit your school.

Birthday Parties
Our very popular birthday parties are available for any age and up to 10 participants.
Bake your own cupcakes and pizza surrounded by you closest friends with a little party at the end!
